  • Purposeful Postpartum Planning Private Class

    This class is designed to help you and your family prepare for the arrival of your baby with the goal of making the fourth trimester a time of rest, recovery, bonding, and adjusting to a new normal. We'll identify your circle of support, learn about healthy postpartum meals and snacks, how to create a home space of ease, what physical and emotional changes you may expect after baby, realistic postpartum recovery, and how to strengthen your relationship with family members, especially your partner.

  • Caring for Your Newborn with Confidence Private Class

    This class will give you the evidence-based information you need to understand what is normal newborn appearance and behavior. You'll learn calming techniques for babies and how to help parent frustrations. We'll practice diaper changing, swaddling, and immersion bathing. You'll learn warning signs of newborn illness and ways to keep your baby safe. We'll discuss optimal infant feeding choices. Finally you'll get tips for age-appropriate interaction with your newborn that promote bonding and brain growth.

  • Preparing for Breastfeeding Success Private Class

    This class will give you the evidence-based information you need to get breastfeeding off to a great start from day one. You'll learn how breastfeeding benefits mom and baby, effective latching, comfortable feeding positions, how to avoid common challenges, the role of partners in breastfeeding success, and how to make breastfeeding a normal rhythm for you and your family.

    Add on: Prenatal Lactation Consult. Includes in-depth history taking of mother and any previous lactation experiences. Diiscuss how maternal/newborn health conditions, birth choices, and medications can impact lactation. Breasts and nipple assessments (with permission).

  • Ongoing Support and Complimentary Prenatal Visits

    Becoming a parent is a journey. As your postpartum doula, I believe it’s important to provide ongoing support to clients. Clients will have access to nourishing postpartum recipes, parent handouts, and professional guidance throughout the third and fourth trimesters, including two 30-minute virtual prenatal visits.
